Visa-on-Arrival (Tourist Visa)

Visa On Arrival can be obtained directly when you are landed at the airports or seaports in Indonesia. Visa On Arrival is given to a person who has come with holiday/leisure or social visit purpose in Indonesia. The maximum length of stay is 30 days and it is not easily extendable and cannot be converted into any other type of visa.

This visa will be issued at the airport/seaport when you enter Indonesia. You are responsible for having a valid passport (with minimum of 6 months validity) and visa when you travel.

‘Temporary Passport’ and ‘traveling document’ is not acceptable as a traveling document to Indonesia.

Visa On Arrival (VOA) is issued to UK nationals, how to pay Visa-On-Arrival : Go to Visa-On-Arrival Desk and there will be a clear big sign directed you where to go, then show the payment sticker to immigration desk, get the passport stamped, and that’s it.

Customs  Regulations

– You may bring a maximum of 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars or 100 grams of tobacco and a reasonable amount of perfume per adult.

– One liter of alcoholic beverage may be brought in per person 18 years of age or over.

– Personal goods up to a value of USD 250.- per passenger or USD 1,000.- per family may be brought into the country.

– Any person bringing cash into or taking cash out of the country in the amount of Rp.100,000,000.00 (one hundred million rupiah) or more, or other currency in equivalent amount, must declare same to Customs.

– Indonesian law forbids visitors from bringing weapons, illegal drugs or pornography into the country. Penalties can be severe and include death for weapons or drugs. Alcohol in excess of 1 liter per person 18 years or over is also forbidden to be imported.

– Electronic goods and photographic equipment must be declared to Customs upon entry and must be re-exported.

– If you bringing in goods or samples for trade show or sales trip you are strongly advised to obtain the appropriate documentation before you land otherwise you will experience inconvenience, substantial cost and delay at customs, on both your arrival and departure.

– Visitors must surrender a signed customs declaration in order to clear customs inspection upon arrival.
